Archery Adventures!
Mead Mountain Outdoors proudly offers a White-tailed Deer Archery Hunt annually. This is one of our most challenging events for attending Veterans but also the most rewarding.
This Hunt takes place in Orland, Maine every October. Participants must be familiar with the safe and effective use of their archery equipment.
Hunt Details
This hunt utilizes small boats as the primary means of transport. Doing so allows us to access prime hunting areas that would otherwise be unreachable for many of our participants.
Safety and Efficacy are very important to us at Mead Mountain Outdoors. Every archery hunt we offer starts off with our friends at Old Town Archery. Participants receive a complimentary equipment inspection and archery lesson from the pro staff before hunting activities kick-off.
As with all of our events food, lodging and transportation are provided to our Veteran Participants free of charge. Transportation for our events is proudly provided by Darlings Auto Group.
If a participant is able to harvest a Deer our work continues. From hiring trackers to paying for the meat processing Mead Mountain Outdoors is there for our participants every step of the way.
